In collaboration with Rosie Sargen and Cristina Pihno.
Upon entering the festival and seeing the structure in the distance, the bamboo heart resembles a large bamboo forest. As spectators draw closer to the installation, they catch glimpses of the heart that the bamboo stems form.
Once arrived at the center of the pavilion, visitors can admire this bamboo sculpture: light plays on it throughout the day with the sun's rays and vegetation plays with the geometries of the stems. Once the sun has set, the pavilion shows itself in another way: garlands of colors light up, highlighting the "heart" and transforming the pavilion into a light sculpture.
